Story
A wine like this makes you wonder why you haven't tried more Pinot Grigio from California. Most of the fruit comes from a selection of vineyards in Napa Valley and Carneros. The juice is fermented with 20% in neutral french oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel. In the end, 5% of Chardonnay is added to improve balance and texture.
Primary flavors of grapefruit and pear give way to more tropical notes of mango, orange zest, and guava on the palate. The wines vibrant acidity is counterbalanced with a rich, full-bodied texture making this wine an ideal accompaniment to grilled chicken or seafood. We wish all Pinot Grigio tasted this good!
Come into Cole Gardens for a bottle or two for the upcoming warming spring weather.
